Wedding Barber in Redmond
Redmond has fewer wedding venues than its reputation suggests, and several of the best-known ones are not in Redmond at all. Willows Lodge is in Woodinville. Bear Creek Country Club is in Woodinville. Sahalee is in Sammamish. Willows Run, which genuinely is in Redmond, advertises golf outings and says nothing about weddings. Sorting that out early saves a surprising amount of confusion over travel times and addresses.
Half of what people book as a Redmond wedding is in another city. Worth knowing before the drive.
What Redmond does have is one unusually early venue, one unusually well-equipped one, a micro-venue in the woods and three hotels at Redmond Town Center. Between them they cover most of what actually happens here.
This page is what we know about how a Redmond wedding morning runs and what is worth settling before the day. Stache handles the finish for the groom and his party wherever they are getting ready — necklines and edges, beard lines, a hot towel — so everyone is camera ready at the same moment.
Clise Mansion opens at seven, and has no getting-ready room
Clise Mansion sits inside Marymoor Park and publishes the most generous access window of any venue in the area: the facility may be rented from as early as seven in the morning and as late as eleven at night, with all setup and cleanup fitting inside the reserved time. It holds around two hundred, the Great Room seats sixty at rounds, and it is sold as a blank canvas — no required caterer, no required planner, no vendor list. The one restriction is alcohol, which must come through the venue.
What it does not publish anywhere is a dressing room, a bridal suite or any getting-ready space. For a venue that can open its doors at seven in the morning, that is a notable gap, and it is the thing to raise with them rather than assume.
The other Marymoor consideration is the park itself. Parking is inside the park at a dollar a space, first come, and spaces can be prepaid and reserved exclusively for an event — which is worth doing, because on a summer Saturday the park also has concerts, ballfields and the dog area pulling traffic through the same entrance.
Chateau Lill: a Redmond address and a Woodinville wedding
Chateau Lill is on Woodinville-Redmond Road with a Redmond mailing address, and markets itself as a Woodinville venue. Both are true, and it matters mainly for mapping and travel.
On getting ready it publishes more than almost anywhere else in the region. Two getting-ready spaces, one on the main floor and one in the Tower Suite, both described as comfortable, with around eight people fitting comfortably — and, unusually, a note that the Tower Suite has plenty of outlets. That is a detail almost no venue bothers to state and it is exactly the detail that matters when two stations are running at once.
Two things to plan around. Access time varies by season and is not published, though earlier access is available by request. And the venue requires planners and catering teams from its own list — required, not preferred. In practice that means the planner is the person who coordinates the morning, and the planner is who to loop in.
Redmond Town Center, and getting ready in a hotel
Three hotels sit at or near Redmond Town Center and all of them host weddings: the Seattle Marriott Redmond, which was renamed from the Redmond Marriott Town Center and still appears under the old name in places; the Archer Hotel Redmond; and the Hilton Garden Inn on Redmond Way. None of them publishes a getting-ready room.
What they have is bookable small rooms, which is the practical substitute. The Marriott’s M Space studios run from a couple of hundred to six hundred and fifty square feet, and its Tack Room is four hundred and forty. The Hilton Garden Inn’s Library is around eleven hundred and fifty square feet. Any of those is a sensible men’s room for a morning if it is booked alongside the main space.
Otherwise it is a guest room, with the same caveat that applies across the Eastside: check-in is in the afternoon and early check-in is not guaranteed anywhere, so a room used at nine in the morning is a room that was held from the night before.
The Emerald Forest, and small weddings
The Emerald Forest on NE 80th is a genuine Redmond venue and a very small one — up to around thirty-five guests, with a treehouse, a forest ceremony site and an outdoor theatre. A dressing room is listed among the amenities with no description, and there is no venue-owned website to check it against.
For a party of two or three men that is entirely workable, and a small wedding is often the calmest morning of all: fewer people, no schedule pressure, and a photographer who is not fighting a timeline. The only thing to confirm is where exactly the station goes, because a forest property does not have an obvious indoor answer.
How the morning runs, start to finish
Wedding work is the finish rather than a full cut — necklines and edges, around the ears, beard lines and shape, a hot towel, styling. A garden or park wedding puts the party in open daylight for hours, and a line that looked fine indoors at nine in the morning is still being photographed at four. Most of the party will have seen their own barber in the week before.
Setup is handled. The chair and the kit arrive with the barber and leave with him. That matters most at a venue like Clise Mansion or a garden ceremony, where there is no back room to borrow and nothing on site to improvise with — it simply is not your problem to solve.
Wedding bookings are $200 per hour, with travel confirmed at inquiry. The hours depend on how many men are being finished and how tightly the photography is scheduled.

Questions grooms ask
Willows Lodge and Bear Creek Country Club are both in Woodinville. Sahalee Country Club is in Sammamish. Chateau Lill has a Redmond mailing address but markets itself, accurately, as a Woodinville wine country venue. Willows Run in Redmond is a golf complex and does not advertise weddings. The genuinely Redmond venues are Clise Mansion, The Emerald Forest, Chateau Lill and the Town Center hotels.
Clise Mansion publishes the earliest access we have found anywhere in the area — the facility can be rented from seven in the morning. Most other venues set the time in the contract and do not publish it. Send us the access time and the ceremony time and we will work backwards from when the photographs start.
It does not publish one. For a venue that opens at seven in the morning and holds two hundred guests, that is worth raising with them directly when you book, so you know where the party is standing before the day.
No. The setup arrives with the barber and leaves with him. That counts for more at a park or garden venue, where there is no back room to borrow and nothing on site to improvise with.
No. A full cut three to five days before the wedding and a beard shaped about a week out is the right schedule, because fresh cuts photograph as fresh cuts. The day-of work is necklines, around the ears, beard lines and shape, a hot towel and styling.
